I love all kinds of coffee, and I just got a new espresso maker, so I’ve been on the hunt for new beans to try. I’d followed Good Walk Coffee on social for a while and finally pulled the trigger. So happy I did.
Wedgewood Golf Course
If you’re looking for a course that won’t eat your whole Saturday, Wedgewood delivers. We usually knock out the front 9 in under two hours, no slow groups, no waiting around.
Rate: Resident 9- $36 // Non-Resident 9 – $44

Overview
This is where Mike’s Monday league plays, and it’s one of the regular stops for a quick 9 or a full 18. Rates are fine, better if you live nearby. Built in 1970, it plays to a par 72 with water coming into play on about a third of the holes and wind that’s part of every round.
The bar has snacks and hot dogs, the pro shop crew is great, and beverage carts actually run the course, something that’s gotten rare these days. There’s also a big driving range to loosen up on before you tee off.

If you are anywhere in the south Chicago suburbs, this could be worth a visit if you're looking for a new spot. Fast rounds, a good bar, and a pro shop full of good people keep this in regular rotation. Just budget for non-resident rates and don't expect tour-quality greens.
