Good Walk Coffee Co. Espresso

Good Walk Coffee Co.

Coffee and golf. Two things I sorta like. Only a little, I guess. I’ve got a new espresso maker, I’m always trying new beans, and the first pull with Good Walk was perfect.

$18 to $20 a bag

Overview

I love all kinds of coffee, and since I got a new espresso maker I’ve been trying every new bean I can find. I’d followed Good Walk on social for a while before I finally pulled the trigger. So happy I did.

Good Walk is a golf coffee company. The founder grew up playing a little muni nine-holer in the North Carolina mountains with his grandfather, with a few cut-down clubs and a tall cup of coffee. They roast in small batches in North Carolina, and almost every coffee is named after something you’d hear on the course: Dew Sweeper, Shotgun Start, Clubhouse. They even have one called Breakfast Ball, so you know that’s my next bag.

So far I’ve only tried their espresso, the Black Tees Classic Espresso Blend. The first pull was perfect, with the amount right where I wanted it and the shot in the espresso range. It’s been the same every pull since. Next up are their other coffees and the Bump & Run cold brew cans. They also have some awesome swag: hats, mugs and sweatshirts.

Tip: sign up for their emails and you get 15% off.

Verdict: 4.7 Breakfast Balls out of 5

If you like coffee and golf, Good Walk is worth a shot. Literally. The Black Tees espresso has been dialed in since day one, and I’ll report back after the cold brew and the Breakfast Ball.

Went out right after a week of Illinois rain, which was my first mistake. Cart path only, mud everywhere, and I only got through 7 holes. Still a good course with a solid bar and some of the nicest people I’ve run into at a golf course.

Love golf, love pizza even more, and boy do I have a slice sometimes. The Chi Golf Slices tee was an easy pick, and the customer service won me over.

My son loves spooky season, so the Buff Bo Trick or Tee was an easy pick. Great design, great fit, and it’s a golf shirt my wife loves too. Turns out golf apparel is a lot easier to buy when it’s not just for me.

Fast rounds, a good bar, and a pro shop full of good people keep this in regular rotation. Just budget for non-resident rates and don’t expect tour-quality greens.

Golf Ball Marker Display

I’m a sucker for course memorabilia, and a ball marker is the easiest souvenir there is. My original display got discontinued on Etsy, so I hunted down a solid replacement. Holds both magnetic and poker chip markers, comes ready to hang, and you can personalize it.
