Overview

My Apple Watch was dead by the back nine every single round. That was the last straw. I looked at the Forerunner too, but the Vivoactive 6 won out because of the golf app integration. Now it’s not just my golf watch, it’s the only watch I wear. Its yardage distances are accurate, quick to show and I’ve abandoned my range finder completey.

What’s good

Yardages and scorecard tracking are fast, no lag waiting on the tee.
Logs every round automatically and calculates your handicap for you.
One watch for golf, running, sleep, everything, no swapping devices.
Actual battery life, not the daily charge routine of the Apple Watch.
The vibrate alarm gets me up early without waking anyone else!

If your smartwatch dies before your round does, this fixes that problem and then some. Between the golf app, the running tracking, and actually knowing how bad your sleep was after a late Masters watch party, it earns its spot on your wrist every day, not just on the course.
